The Importance of Rituals

A thing happens before Baseball games in the Lone Star Conference. I noticed it a few years ago but didn't know it was a "thing." A competition is going on during the National Anthem before the game starts.

The mighty Central Catholic Buttons hit the road and travel to Houston this weekend for games in an invite-only event for the top teams in Houston, a benefit of being the defending TAPPS Divison One State Champion. I look forward to a nice road trip for a doubleheader on Friday at the Woodlands and another double-dipper on Saturday at St. Thomas. Central will be a tough out this season. I can't wait to watch the season unfold...
