All You Need is Love and Baseball! I have my pencils sharp and my two favorite scorebooks ready to roll. We're six games into the Lone Star Conference season, and the scrappy St. Marys Rattlers are off to a good start at 6-2. The mighty Central Catholic Buttons hit the road and travel to Houston this weekend for games in an invite-only event for the top teams in Houston, a benefit of being the defending TAPPS Divison One State Champion. I look forward to a nice road trip for a doubleheader on Friday at the Woodlands and another double-dipper on Saturday at St. Thomas. Central will be a tough out this season. I can't wait to watch the season unfold...
