The Anvil Always Breaks The Hammer
Posted on
The Anvil Always Breaks the Hammer. I came across this George Orwell quote after going down an internet wormhole about the concept of Wu Wei. It’s fascinating on many levels and visually appealing. What do you think? Check out the shirts and look for some more extensions of this idea to come…as soon as I get off the couch from watching College Football.
Check Your Engine
Posted on
Perhaps it was a sign from the universe, but I decided to check my own engine. In fact, I used this friendly reminder from my car to take a look at the health of my day-to-day activities. I'm happy to report that my engine is working just fine. I may have to get a four wheel drive to navigate my new path, but my engine is good to go.

Check out the That's Baseball collection to get the perfect Tshirt to complement that laid-back going to the ball park look. It's an ideal lightweight shirt for a long day of baseball.
Call on Castillo

When you need jolt, call on Castillo Electric to get the job done. Luis Castillo gives your team a high voltage outing every time. Castillo was one of the most valuable additions any MLB team made at the trade deadline a couple of weeks ago – ask the Yankees how the trade deadline is working out for them.
Lagniappe, Ya'll

People are different in Louisiana. People in Texas too. We should join the two states and make one big happy country. The land of Lagniappe (Lan Yap), a place where doing and giving something a "little extra" is just the baseline, ya'll.
Be Prepared. Get Lucky.

When you are prepared, it’s amazing how lucky you get. This series is my homage to the legend that will live on forever, Vin Scully. An improbable story of a kid from the Bronx who left an impossible legacy to repeat. We’re all much better off for hearing his voice. Rest in peace Vin Scully.
That Took Way Too Long

A couple of years ago, I went down an internet wormhole about Thorpe – known as Wa-Tho-Huk (Bright Path), and created a collection to honor the world's greatest athlete.
Viva La Breakfast Tacos!

San Antonio is breakfast taco heaven – the patron city of breakfast tacos. That's just talking facts. Feel me?
I'm Definitely Team Machacado

I don't know about you, but I have a lot of pride in being from a town that has such spectacular breakfast tacos. It just isn't the same anywhere else. As an adopted San Antonian, when you leave for a week or two you develop a craving for a breakfast taco upon your return. It gets in your blood.
The Greatest Name Ever
Posted on
When I first heard the name, I thought no way that can be true! But it is: Oneil Cruz is a 6'7'' Pittsburg Pirates shortstop (you read that right) who happens to have a beautiful mashed up name that immediately reminded me of Oneil Surfboards and Santa Cruz skateboards.
