Step away from the Halloween candy aisle. I love chocolate. Unfortunately, chocolate doesn't love me back. As the candy season comes into full bloom next week – culminating in me buying enough chocolate candy to feed an army of trick-o-treaters that never seem to materialize – I was reminded of the Japanese term, "Hara Hachi Bu" – eat until you are 80% full.

This was a no brainer. I couldn't believe he started the at bat with a fastball. At least it was away. And at least it was a swing and a miss. There is no way he's throwing him another fastball I said in my head…but he did. Just don't do it…and the rest as they say is history.

Bravo, Aaron Judge! What a guy. It's hard not to like Aaron Judge's public persona. He's a Yankee, so I'm predisposed not to like him (a little bit at least). From all I have seen, read, and heard about him though, he seems like a good dude. So bravo to Aaron Judge for taking down Roger Maris.

Wristband Tins are my first foray into the world of UPC codes and inventory. My first offering, the “Ball Don’t Lie” series was inspired by my baseball loving son. The wristbands are a logical addition to the T-shirts, Journals, and Stickers that I’ve already created.

Make no doubt about it, Jalen Hurts is my QB1. Philly fans have got to be loving the way Jalen Hurts is progressing, there is definitely a Hurts Effect when this guy is on your team. 

San Antonio is launching it’s sixth (?) Pro Football Franchise this February when the XFL comes to town. I’m taking the Under bet on one season. No one asked me, but I think Carnage would have been a good team name. Just for fun, I updated my Wedge Buster Alum T-shirt from a few years back, cause it’s football, ahem, Carnage Season. It’s tucked into the Raw Collection too. Maybe one day I’ll have a Football Collection. Don’t hold your breath.

The Anvil Always Breaks the Hammer. I came across this George Orwell quote after going down an internet wormhole about the concept of Wu Wei. It’s fascinating on many levels and visually appealing. Perhaps it was a sign from the universe, but I decided to check my own engine. In fact, I used this friendly reminder from my car to take a look at the health of my day-to-day activities. I'm happy to report that my engine is working just fine. I may have to get a four wheel drive to navigate my new path, but my engine is good to go.
