The Anvil Always Breaks The Hammer

“At the end of the day, you can't control the results; you can only control your effort level and your focus.” – Ben Zobrist
Doing Nothing, is Something. Sometimes it’s better to sit and think rather than jump into action. The ancient Taoist philosophy of Wu Wei, literally translated as “non-action” is about not forcing things. It’s about:
“…avoiding the paralyzing effects of overanalyzing, stressing out, and all of the things that come with a general need to control events and people. Quite simply, Wu Wei is an approach to existence that advocates an acceptance of the myriad things that are out of our control, a willingness to go along for the ride, and a readiness to act in the few instances where action will truly add value.” – Mark Sturm
The Anvil Always Breaks the Hammer. I came across this George Orwell quote after going down an internet wormhole about the concept of Wu Wei. It’s fascinating on many levels and visually appealing. What do you think? Check out the shirts and look for some more extensions of this idea to come…as soon as I get off the couch from watching College Football.

All the best to you the remainder of this week as you navigate through the noise. Cheers!
