If you are a football fan and you haven't been living under a rock, then you have to feel bad for Aaron Rodgers.

The hippie QB manifested himself a torn achilles after ONLY four plays for the New York Jets. Four plays! All the endless hype. The HBO Hard Knocks documentary that built-up and capitalized on the fan frenzy. All the promise in the world – the Jets are going to the Super Bowl! And then, Cosmic Irony raises its hand and says, "Not so fast my friend". With a snap of a finger (or achilles in this instance) all New York Jets fans; and football fans for that matter, were brought back to the reality of fate.

Life can be crazy sometimes – it makes no sense to Jet fans right now for sure. Hell, all New York sports fans have to be besides themselves: the Yankees suck; the Giants look lost; and the Mets and all their money in the world couldn't buy them anything but last place. At least you have the NY Liberty still alive and the fighting SC Red Bulls, but I digress. Embrace your fate New York Sports fans! It's Cosmic Irony at work. You gotta laugh to keep from crying.
