Elevator attendant? In this century? Yeah, I know. Sounds crazy. But one time we had an office that had two elevators. Both elevators required an attendant to operate them. Ralph, let's call him attendant numero uno, ran a tight ship. He would always ask what floor we needed – even after a year of being one of the only tenants in the entire eight stories of the building. "Fifth floor please," we would say.

"Ah rite, then" Ralph would reply.

And up, up, and away we went. I'll never forget Ralph. Those words help those memories stick.
