Exercise? We're Talking about Exercise!

Exercise? We're Talking about Exercise!

Posted on April 19, 2023

During the pandemic, I entered into what I refer as the “bulk-up” phase of my existence.

By the end of 2020, I was properly bulked-up. It was past time to do some serious cutting. So I plopped down the $2K and joined the cult of Peloton. Last month, I ended my streak of three years of doing at least one Peloton routine. That was a streak of 167 weeks. Not quite Lou Gehrig, but impressive for me.

Most of those weeks was spent on the bike, but a few of those weeks that I was sick I found a Peloton yoga or meditation routine, or when I was traveling I used a Peloton walking routine. I can say whole heartedly, that it has been a good investment.

I started a new streak last week.

My first ride back was a Metal Ride (my favorite) with the absolute best / beast instructor – Kendall Toole. Even if you are not part of the Peloton cult, she’s worth a follow on social. She starts my first ride back with the comment, “Ever notice how similar Exorcise is to Exercise? It’s time to Exercise Your Demons Peloton.”

Indeed. There’s nothing like exercise to expel your demons.

Here’s to exercising hard the next few days, so you can exorcise a few beers this weekend. Cheers!
